On 30 Sept 2023, we had our second Focus Group Discussion of the year! We had a good discussion on how we can work together with the volunteers to better the programmes for our residents. We specifically discussed on how to make spiritual classes more fun and interesting. We touched on different ways to incorporate activities such as gardening to bring in the bible, instead of sticking to traditional sit-down bible studies.
Moving forward, we hope volunteers will start using a more activity-based style to teach the bible. We will also be doing a programme review by the end of the year for all volunteer groups and contacting all volunteers separately regarding that.
